This installation is in Melbourne’s southern suburbs & involves an Optus 4G+ mobile broadband installation with:-
2 x RFI Technology Solutions Wide-band MIMO 3G, 4G & 5G Panel Antenna – 700-3800MHz.
Mounted atop of a 2M Galvanised Roof Mounted Mast.
Connected to 4 x Phaseblocker N Male to Female Lightning Arrester – up to 6GHz for Lightning protection.
Cabled down to the mobile broadband infrastructure using 4 x 10M lengths of LCU400 10m Coaxial Cable – N Male to SMA Male.
Connected to 2 x Clipsal Home Dual SMA Wall Plates attached to 2 x Clipsal Home wall stand offs.
These were then attached to 2 x Optus Huawei B525 Routers via 4 x lengths of LCU195 1.5m Coaxial Cable – SMA Male to SMA Male located in a data cabinet.
The 2 x RFI Technology Solutions Wide-band MIMO 3G, 4G & 5G Panel Antenna – 700-3800MHz are 5G ready for connection to a future 5G network when & or if a, actual real 5G router with external antenna connectors is ever released in Australia.
As you will see in the below digi pics, we had to go through a steel stud frame wall, so it was necessary to take the appropriate & necessary insulation steps to protect the 4 x 10M lengths of LCU400 10m Coaxial Cable – N Male to SMA Male from the steel stud frame wall.
Because we were working in a high Vehicle & Pedestrian area, it was deemed necessary to take a lot of extra steps & precautions to ensure that we complied with all the necessary Worksafe Vic OH & S requirements to keep people, vehicles & our selves safe & separated on the worksite, including setting up dedicated Pedestrian walk areas to keep Pedestrians safe at all times.
This was a great installation with a great speed test result check out the digi pics, ensuring that both Telco Antennas, Optus & Optus’s client were happy with the finished result.
