Corowa 5G Mobile Broadband

Corowa 5G Mobile Broadband & 4G/5G Mobile Voice

With most things technological, changes constantly happen as new inventions come about, 5G services being one of them. This particular client, although they are in a rural area, is lucky enough that the town they are in has Telstra 5G available. This meant that we were able to install a dedicated Telstra 5G Mobile Broadband service as well as the new 4G/5G Mobile Voice service for their office & warehouse

For the 5G broadband and one of the 4G/5G mobile voice installations, Essential Communications Services raised a 5m Galvanised Serviceable Mast atop of which we installed a Panorama 4×4 MiMo antenna for the broadband service and an RFI Wideband High Gain Mesh Parabolic Antenna – 700-3800MHz for the mobile voice service. The signal for both of these antennas is drawn down to their respective equipment via 5 x Phaseblockers and 5 x LCU400 Coaxial Cables.

The broadband service came down to a Peplink BRI Pro 5G Cat20 Dual Sim Router that fit easily into the client’s existing Ubiquiti WiFi network. This gave the client a massive boost in speed as well as reliability.

The mobile voice service for the office came down to a Nextivity Cel-Fi G51 Mobile Voice Repeater connected to an RFI Omni Directional Ceiling Mounted DAS unit to distribute the mobile voice signal throughout the office and showroom.

As this is both an office/showroom as well as a warehouse, a second Nextivity Cel-fi G51 Mobile Voice Repeater was needed to ensure the warehouse was covered for voice. This system required its own antenna so Essential Communications Services mounted an RFI Wideband High Gain Mesh Parabolic Antenna – 700-3800MHz atop a 3m Galvanised Serviceable Mast. This brought the signal in via LCU400 Coaxial Cable to the G51. As this was going to be out in the warehouse we mounted a weatherproof enclosure to the warehouse wall so that we could ensure the G51 was kept away from the dust and other debris that circulates through the open section of this site.

The signal was then distributed via an RFI Omni Directional Ceiling Mounted DAS unit. This gave the team in the warehouse full mobile voice coverage.

The client was thrilled with the result. It meant that their VPN to their head office, in another part of the state, had a stable, reliable connection and the team was able to have complete confidence in receiving and making phone calls to customers, suppliers and head office.
