Essential Communications Services often travel to “holiday spots”, not to have a break, but to install communications for clients that have family who need to be able to contact the office, even though they are on holidays.
For this installation, the client, who already has a “Roam” Starlink service installed in his caravan, had ordered one for their permanent residence but had no way of completing it himself as his home is part of a two-story duplex.
With our experience in working at heights, as well as completing these kinds of installations with ease, we were able to have this installation done in a couple of hours.
As is usual, the new Gen2 Starlink cabling starts at the router, so we traced a line up through an internal wall and punched it out through the roof line. We then installed a 1 metre purpose-made Starlink mast from Spacetek that fits the new Gen2 Starlink dish.
The client was pleased with the installation, the internet speed he has now gained, and how neat everything was.
